Hello everyone—ready or not, it’s Monday! Whether you’re looking down the barrel of Halloween, a hurricane or something else just as frightening, here’s hoping that the week goes as smoothly as possible for you. Today’s shots are from Friday, when the peaks and skies cleared and let us have a look at the gorgeously white high country around Crested Butte! Our first shot is looking past a Silver Queen Express chair, out at the snow-basted WhetstoneMountain.
Our next shot is looking out at the twelfth highest peak in Colorado, the 14,179’ Castle Peak. Looks like there’s enough to snow to ski a couple of those chutes up there, doesn’t it?
We’ll use today’s third shot to show what a difference a few days makes in how things look on the high country. The first shot is from Friday morning and the previous shot was from Wednesday . . . a whole different scene, isn’t it?
Have a really good start to the week out there and for those of you on the Eastern seaboard, keep your heads down and know that our thoughts and prayers are with you! Have a great day!
